DEVIZES AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB AT A GLANCE
Devizes Amateur Swimming Club meet regularly throughout the year at Devizes Leisure Centre.
We have a thriving teaching section where young people can learn to swim to ASA standard.
Our aim is to foster an environment where children & young adults can enjoy learning a new sport and life skill, swim competitively when ready and most importantly we want our club members to gain a life-long love of swimming

TEACHING
If you want to learn to swim, Devizes Swimming Club can help you: we cater for all ages from five years old to adults. All of our coaches are trained how to teach swimming to an approved national standard and we follow the ASA teaching guidelines for swimming
We swim on Tuesday evening starting at 6:00pm with a typical session for a learner lasting about 30 minutes.
SQUAD
The swimming squad are usually those members aged 10 and over who have reached a satisfactory standard in one or more strokes and who wish to swim and train competitively. There is no upper age limit - our Open team starts at 16 years and includes young adults.
The squad enter both the Wiltshire Moonraker Summer League (April to September) and Winter League (December to March) and there are 4 galas in each league.
TUESDAY TRAINING TIMES:
LEVELS 1, 2, 3 & 4 SWIM AT 6 - 6:30PM
LEVELS 5, 6, 7 & 8 SWIM AT 6:30 - 7PM
LEVELS 9, 10 & PRE-SQUAD
SWIM AT 7 - 8PM
SQUAD SWIM AT 8 - 9.30PM
